How does Jeauveau work?
Jeauveau is an injectable neuromodulator similar to Botox. In the simplest terms, neuromodulators paralyze facial muscles. They do this by blocking the electrical impulses that nerves transmit to stimulate movement. When these signals are blocked, the muscles cannot contract and eventually settle into a relaxed state. Jeaveau works well to correct dynamic wrinkles because it releases the tension of the muscles that create them. A Jeaveau treatment is non-surgical and minimally invasive. The neuromodulator is simply injected into the target area. If desired, a topical numbing gel can be applied for patient comfort. For the best results, practitioners must have a delicate, precise touch and a thorough understanding of facial anatomy.
